Membership Meeting August 6, 2024

 A great group attended the membership meeting on the 6th of August. Much discussion on the Primary Election, the Referendum questions (explained), signage places throughout Wood County, volunteer opportunities and much, much more. The office hours will be extended once the primary election is completed, watch for volunteer opportunities there as well as for the Fair in Marshfield, the dates are August 19 (set up day - 8 am - 8 pm), starts on Tuesday, August 20th through Sunday August 25th.  Vice Chair, Gordon Fischer, is in charge of scheduling, if you are interested in helping please contact him at gmfischer73@gmail.com. 

 Thank you to our great members for all their help, it is appreciated!  You may have noticed large signs throughout Wood County, we are doing our best.  Keep in mind we do NOT have Trump/Vance or any large Trump signs yet, we are working diligently to get them!  Hang in there.  If you have a piece of land you would like a large sign on let us know, our hard working volunteer, fence post pounding guys will help take care of that.

 Regarding the partisan primary election this past Tuesday. Congratulations are in order for Eric Hovde for his win in the U.S. Senate primary,  Rep. John Spiros for coming out on top for the 86th primary.  Both campaigns are examples of the candidate who puts in the most effort will usually be victorious. Did I mention the great number of signs and placement of those signs also was a contributing factor to both wins.  This is also true for the two ballot referendums that the democrats spent so much time and money trying to defeat with a “no” and “no” campaign.  This again is another example of how the campaign who spends the most efforts and campaign resources will come out victorious.  We all need to “UP OUR GAME” for November 5th. We need to be the party that has the most effort put forth to win up and down the ballot for Republicans.

  

WE ARE LOOKING TO UP OUR GAME FOR THIS WEEKEND’S KELLNER CORN FEST PARADE

We would like to have any and all volunteers show up to walk in this parade, show our strength, our enthusiasm, our Republican Spirit!  The parade begins at 11 am, downtown Kellner, if you come as a walker you need to be there by 10-10:15 am.  The check in is at the intersection of Southpark Rd and 88th Street South, you can walk along and find the RPWC Float, there will be 2 trailers. Please join us, our Chairman is challenging us to get to 30 walkers!!  This is the last parade of the election season, it is a fun time and the weather should be great, please join us and let’s show Kellner our support!  Wear a candidate t-shirt or any patriotic shirt you would like, we may carry signs and of course we always give out candy and candidate literature.  Hope to see you there!

 

NOTICE: On Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at 5:30 PM, RPWC is hosting a Wisconsin Election Integrity Training Session at the headquarters, 631 8th Street S, Wisconsin Rapids.  Mike Hoffman, Wisconsin Election Integrity Director, from RPW will be completing the training. Please plan on attending and bring a friend, you can sign up at the office or respond to this email. We hope you will attend as it is so important this election season to Protect the Ballot for President Trump and VP Vance!

We would like to express a sincere Thank-you to Donna Rozar for representing the 69th Assembly District since 2021. Thank-you for all of your time and efforts over the last four years. This “redistricting” primary is an example of “elections have consequences” where if the Republicans state wide would have been united, we would have a different Governor and the redistricting would not have happened!

 

ATTENTION: next member meeting date is September 5, 2024 at 6:00 at the RPWC headquarters in Wisconsin Rapids. Additionally new Wisconsin Rapids office hours are: Monday, Tuesday 1 PM to 6 PM, CLOSED on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 1 PM to 6 PM, and Saturdays 10 AM to 2 PM.  We are looking for a few more volunteers for staffing these extra hours.  If you have a few extra hours that you can spare, please respond via email, and someone will reach out to you.
