Election Integrity Guides
For individuals serving as Election Observers, please remember that you must bring a valid form of identification and sign in prior to observing at a polling location on Election Day.
As of July 2025, Wisconsin has implemented new election observer rules that will be in effect for the February 17 primary. If you are not yet familiar with these updated requirements, we strongly encourage you to review them on the Wisconsin Election Commission website.
Additionally, in November 2024, Wisconsin voters approved the “Only Citizens Vote” amendment to the Wisconsin Constitution. This amendment affirms that only legal U.S. citizens have the right to vote in Wisconsin elections.
As a reminder, all observers and election workers are encouraged to review the guides provided below in advance and to bring copies with them on Election Day. These materials outline the new observer rules as well as acceptable forms of voter identification in Wisconsin, helping ensure compliance with current regulations and the proper implementation of the constitutional requirements for the 2026 elections.
